Andy Webber's Woodwork

Much of Andy's 3D work is in wood. The work is very tactile, sculptural and often decorated. It requires a great deal of precision to achieve clean lines and a uniform pattern. Some of the work may be described as Ornamental or Complex Turning, with the primary technique being guilloché. A selection of creations and projects are shown below. In 2025, Dorset Arts and Crafts awarded Andy the Rai Nicholls Trophy for the best Woodwork for the piece "Turned Sculpture". Tap on an image below to see more examples.
